Tom Trouwborst Email: PastorTom@CalvaryOPCNY.org Fresh out of college with an MBA, I was attempting to get a job at an accounting firm, and my interviewer was a pretty young lady named Colleen. Not only did I get the job but I also got a wife, as Colleen and I were married in 1990. The Lord has blessed with nine children.  Our eldest is eighteen and our youngest is two.  Things have never been quiet or boring in our house! Colleen grew up Roman Catholic in central NJ and became evangelical during her college years, and I grew up in the Christian Reformed Church in Midland Park, NJ . Soon after our marriage, while considering seminary, we began our own accounting practice, Trouwborst & Trouwborst, which paid the bills during the seminary days. I graduated from Bahnsen Seminary in 2000 and came to Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church in 2001. My theological roots are in the Dutch Reformed tradition, and yet I have been richly blessed by studying in a confessional Presbyterian seminary.  I have a deep desire to help men, women, and children walk closely with God and to see the Christian Faith applied to practical, everyday life—and that this would be the foundation of a life of joy and contentment. I am always happy to answer your questions about Christianity and life. I want to help, and I see myself as your servant of the Church and the community.  I love to read, be outside in God’s creation, and spend time with my wife and children.
